The Bay City Elks 88 held the annual Christmas Basket project again this year. This year there are 70 baskets going to the families that had their homes damaged or destroyed by the collapse of the Edenville and Sanford dams in Midland county and 70 baskets to the veterans in Bay county for a total of 140 Christmas baskets. The generosity of the Bay City Elks 88, the Elks National Foundation and Sanford Food Center contributed almost $10,000 for the groceries.
