The Michigan Elks Association Major Project exists to help special needs children in the State of Michigan achieve their goals! Each year, we work together with the MEA Lodges to raise the necessary funds to help with individual therapies, equipment, technology, scholarships to special needs camps and more! In 2022, the Commission expanded their program to include special needs adults (19+) under the Marching Forward! program, offering opportunities for social interaction, development, equipment needs, and a camping opportunity with Bay Cliff Health Camp! Contact the Major Project office or your District Commissioner for more information! As always, clients do NOT need to be an Elk to apply for assistance!
Bay Cliff Health Camp Update
Bay Cliff Health Camp 2025 – Join us for “Elks Day” at Bay Cliff on July 19th for an amazing day! We are including the 2021 Wish List, which are items the camp is always in need of! Gently used items are also accepted! We urge all lodges to hold “Christmas in July” events to encourage member donations. Lodges should contact their District Commissioner to arrange for pick-up of items if a lodge member/representative will not be attending, so we can make sure to carry it to Bay Cliff on Elks Day! A potential golf outing may occur around this date benefiting both Major Project and Gold Key…. stay tuned for more information!
