On November 8th Bay City Elks Lodge 88 presented the Saginaw Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center with an autographed Saginaw Spirit Jersey from the Military Appreciation hockey game that was sponsored by the Northeast District of the Michigan Elks Association. Following the game each year the game worn jerseys are auctioned off with proceeds going to Veteran charities with the lodge.
The lodge has earned over $55,500 for their Veterans charity since 2014 when they began the program with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. George and Roy spent the rest of the day volunteering at a Veteran Expo held at the Saginaw Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center interacting with Veterans and staff.
